New band member presentation
Jes Iversen,
drummer, started in 1981 as a 7-year-old with his first Ludwig drum
kit, and was educated through out the 1980s, until he was convinced
that his beat was solid. Since then he has played in several bands
(eg. Metro, Hamilton, Ugler i mosen) and musicals (Gasolin Musical
2006). Jes plays a number of styles, but especially likes pop/rock.
Today he plays Gretsch drums helped by Rolands products.

Finally we have gotten around to create a profile
at myspace.com, where it is said that everybody who is anything has
a profile. Check it out if you like. We've made some interesting friends
already. We are absolutely certain that PJ Harvey and Nick Cave PERSONALLY
okayed our request to become their friends. God, it's good to know
that those people know our music now!

Very nice reviews on MyMusic and

This has got to be the strangest review
I have ever seen in my life. (I'm just glad that the "critic's"
hot-tempered idiosyncrasies aren't directed towards the music, but
ONLY TOWARDS EVERYTHING ELSE). Geiger.dk review (in Danish)
January 8, 2006: Release of Not Unforgiven

We are
proud to present our latest artistic and musical commodity: the professionally
recorded, produced and printed compact disc Not Unforgiven. You can
read about it and see it here, listen
to the music here, analyze the lyrics

15, 2005: Bewildermen in TV2 Østjylland on Spil Dansk Dagen

Bewildermen
played in Bazar
Vest as part of the national Spil Dansk Dag initiative on October
27. We had arranged with the choir Basic Trust (led by Kristine Poulsgaard
Tjørnholm) to sing six songs with us. It sounded fantastic,
we all thought. Furthermore one of our old friends the rapper
"Inspired" (AKA Sean-Poul de Fre Gress) turned up
and poured his poetry all over Fear of Heights. The guy on bongos
is Torben Tiedemann. He was substituting for our missing drummer and
was doing a great job on perc. TV2 Østjylland made a cool little
news item out of the concert.

Lars Siebert
has chosen to leave the band. Consequently we are looking for a new
drummer. If you think you might be the right man or woman for the
job, we would love to hear from you.

5, 2005: Anni Slot will sing backing while Lennie has maternity
leave
We
are glad to announce that we have found the perfect substitute for
Len, while she secures the survival of the human race. Her name is
Anni, and she will be with us until Feb. 2006. At the moment Anni
Slot is studying History of Arts, though Music is her main subject
at the University of Århus. Anni has been singing in different
bands for a decade and she is currently the lead singer in the band
"Off The Record" and also in the duo "Cupid".
She is teacher and worked as such for two years before she decided
to study music. Anni offers private lessons in guitar, piano and song.
If you are interested you can get in touch with her here.

27, 2005: Rasmus Geerthsen Joins The Band
We are happy
and proud to trumpet that Rasmus Geerthsen is going to sound the electric
guitar and various other instruments in or little group from now on.
Ramus is a well-educated guitarist, who has taken jazz classes at e.g.
Frontsession and Århus Music Academy (we wont let him use his
black jazz magic in the band though). Among many others he has earlier
played with upcoming Danish sadcore singer-songwriter Jacob
Faurholt. Rasmus is also a music teacher in grade school - and,
yes, he is just as sweet a guy as this sounds. He takes his art seriously
and thus he is also a promising abstract painter. You can see some of
his work at www.rasmusg.dk. Welcome
Ras give us hell!

1, 2005: Danish Drum Majorettes Championship
Yesterday Len and I went to play in the streets of Århus. Actually
it was my début as a street musician, so I was a little nervous.
But as soon as the music began and Len got that good energy of hers
going we enjoyed it. It's really something with all that contact between
audience and artist: no stage, no lights in our eyes, completely naked
and real. The crazy thing was that of all days we had chosen the day
when the Danish Drum Majorettes Championship was held in Århus.
(I am not particularly fond of drum majorettes music.) So there they
were, one formation after the other marching down the main shopping
street with approximately 3 minutes between them, which meant that we
could almost play an entire song before the next drum majorettes closed
in. They stamped, whistled, whirled sticks round, smiled like flight
attendants, and made different tunes sound exactly the same uniforms
tend to make things uniform (no matter how colourful). One of the outfits
even had young boys carrying replica muzzle loaders in stead of musical
instruments. It was probably meant to be historical, but I thought it
was disgusting. Anyway, after a couple of hours of this we gave up and
headed for a different part of town. You know what happened? The second
we arrived there, we saw drum majorettes coming in our direction! Things
were beginning to get Kafkaesque. Len's friend Per Nissen filmed us
on his cell phone, unfortunately he didn't get the sweet majorettes
in the shot, but you can hear them all right. Best wishes Rolf
